Biography:

Coach Eddie Tisdale played at Lugoff-Elgin from 2002-2005. At LE, Tisdale ended his career as a 3 time All-Region selection (03,04,05), Region POY (05), and All-State selection (05). Tisdale was ranked by Impact Baseball as the 8th best prospect in the 2005 class.

After signing with Winthrop in 06 Tisdale amassed a career that saw him become a two-time team captain (08,09) and find his way into the top 5 Eagles of all time in games played, put outs, career fielding percentage, hits in a game, doubles in a game, singles in a game, as well as hitting for the cycle vs UNCA in 2009.

Tisdale signed with the Lake Erie Crushers as a free agent in 2009. After winning a championship in 2009, Tisdale was named by Baseball America as a Top 15 Independent Prospect in the US. Tisdale's playing career ending in 2011 after a wrist injury.

Coach Tisdale got his coaching start under Florida Hall of Fame coach Rich Hofman, who won 1,000 career games and was named Baseball America's High School Coach of the decade during the 90's.  Tisdale was named head coach of the University School Sun's in Ft. Lauderdale FL in 2013. After leading the Sun's to a regular season district championship, Tisdale was named Region COY and a Broward County All-Star Coach. In addition to these honors coach Tisdale was named a Power Showcase HS All-American game head coach for the West All-Americans. 

Tisdale lives with his wife Stacey in Rock Hill.
