Biography:
Coach Furlong grew up in Oviedo, FL. She has played volleyball since she was eleven years old. Coach Furlong competed at a high-level in her volleyball career, winning Florida's 7A State Championship, being selected as Florida Gatorade Player of the Year, and playing volleyball at the University of South Carolina. Coach Furlong's goal for York Comprehensive's Volleyball Program is to not only be able to teach student athletes the skills of the sport, but to use the skills learned to help student athletes excel in the classroom and beyond after they graduate.
