Tuesday evening our girls swim team traveled to Columbia to participate in the 4a State Swim meet and they came away with a 15th overall finish.  

Individual Top performers included Ava Hease finishing 2nd in the 200 IM, and following that up getting just out touched at the wall and finishing 2nd place in the 100 Breast.

Addy Branch had a good showing in the 200 yard free and the 100 yard fly with 18th and 22nd place finishes respectively.

Our 200 yard medley relay consisting of Ava Hease, Kayla Thomson, Addy Branch, and Claire Gilfillan had a good swim and finished 12th.  And our 200 yard free relay team of Addy Branch, Caroline Mitchell, Kayla Thomson, and Ava Hease finished 12th as well.

Another contributor to the State Team was Matti Helms.

These young ladies represented York well and we are very proud of their season accomplishments!
